Job offer requirements
For the Private Career College Graduate Pilot, the graduate must have accepted a full-time, non-seasonal job offer from an eligible New Brunswick employer. The offer must be:
- genuine and unconditional;
- full-time;
- non-seasonal (year-round);
- directly related to the graduate's program of study;
- in one of the eligible occupations listed for that program;
- from an eligible New Brunswick employer;
- supported by the employer.
The employer must have been actively operating in New Brunswick for at least 24 months under the same ownership, providing goods or services.
What you should know
If you graduated from Oulton College's Practical Nurse program, you need a genuine job offer connected to NOC 32101 – Licensed Practical Nurses. It cannot simply be any job in a hospital or any healthcare-related position.
The offer letter is evidence of the employment, but the immigration process requires additional employer documentation. The official New Brunswick program requires your employer to complete form NB-004 Employer Information as part of the nomination application. The province then assesses whether the employment is genuine, whether the employer is eligible and whether your position meets the program requirements.
